Mi Box S Netflix casting

Question

Hi guys!

I have Mi Box S 4k and I updated it to Android 9. I noticed recently that netflix cast button from my chromebook mirrors the screen instead of casting like it used to where I would just get a tiny control bar in the bottom of my screen. Youtube works fine. Has anyone else noticed this?

Also, during screen mirroring, I notice green lines along the bottom of my screen. Is there a way to remove this? How do I improve my screen mirroring quality?

unrelated but how annoying is it that the youtube app goes into separate chromecast mode when you want to control if from your phone, so separate that you back out to control with the remote and you'll back into another paused video. should be like netflix or plex where the app can act as the remote for the tv app

Why don't you use the netflix app on the mi box instead of casting?
