TCL update?

Hi everyone, I've got 2 TCL p8m TV's. One is 43" and another is 65"

The larger TV has already updated automatically to android 9 but the smaller one remains at android 8.

Even if I try to do network update on the smaller TV, it shows as latest version..is there an update file anywhere so I can just do a local update?

Trust me on this, you want to use this update:

CHASSIS : RT51 (Firmware ID: R851T02)

MODELS: 43P8M, 50P8M, 55P8M, 60P8M, 65P8M, 75P8MR, 55P8S, 65P8S

FIRMWARE: v321 ( http://as-update.cedock.com/apps/resource2/V8R851T02/V8-R851T02-LF1V321/FOTA-OTA/V8-R851T02-LF1V321.zip )

INSTALLATION:

  1. Format a USB Flash drive using FAT32
  2. Copy the ZIP archive onto the drive (It needs to be the only file there)
  3. Insert the USB drive in your TV's USB port (Android should recognise it, you can skip that message)
  4. Goto the Android TV Setting Menu and find and select the System Update section
  5. Choose "Local Update" from the menu that is presented
  6. Wait and watch – it will take 5 minutes or so, then reboot, which will take 10 minutes or so

This method will not reset all your settings and installed apps
