Using a Sony Android TV and I've done everything from clearing data/cache, uninstalling the app, power cycling the TV, and Hulu will always buffer after a couple minutes of streaming, even when connected to ethernet.
Other services like Netflix work flawlessly, and Hulu works on all our other computers and phones, so this leads me to believe that there's an issue with the Hulu app on the Google Play Store for Android TVs
yeah hulu is a piece of shit app. i have no issues dubbing with netflix or youtube but hulu has a delay that makes vocals off with my receiver
Firestick 4k and it constantly has issues simply booting up. Cleared cache and uninstalled and reinstalled and it will work intermittently. YouTube tv, prime, and Netflix work great.
Well on the Xiaomi Mi Box S with Android 9 they still don't let you install their app from the store, so I'd say they must have something subtly wrong with their app which they can't be bothered to fix or don't know how.
On Roku it seems to work fine.
Make sure no other device on your account is streaming or has streamed recently. That happened to me and I believe that was the problem. Hulu app tends to freeze alot on my android tv, really annoying having to restart the app.
You might have better luck if you get some kind of streaming device. Hulu might work better on it.
I have Nvidia shield tv pro 2019 problems with Hulu Netflix Amazon prime video. Also have amazon fire tv cube second generation. Have no problem with Hulu Netflix amazon prime video.

Yes.. it has buffering issues when starting a show. I always have to hit rewind back to start of video and then it works ok. Constant annoyance. Nvidia shield 2019..
