We recently got a 2020 Hisense Android TV (ATV4) AND occasionally there are green/purple pixelation or artifacting. I can't seem to find a consistent pattern but it happens across multiple streaming apps. It doesn't happen when I'm playing switch.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, is this issue worth returning the tv over?

I just bought a hisense tv and the same thing is happening. It’s infuriating. Only happens when streaming through apps
I recommend just testing in the different color presets (standard, vivid, ect)
If you're able to reproduce it in every color preset, then it could be a hardware issue with a bad panel.
If you can take it back I would do so..
Flip the HDMI it worked for me lol
Are you connected over WiFi or ethernet? Since it's only whilst streaming, maybe a wired connection would help
Try change brightness and contrast settings of TV. Or change different presets. I have it too and it goes on different presets.
I have the same thing on my 2019 model, it has something to do with the 10 bit dithering, which is poorly implemented. Unfortunately, all Hisense televisions have this problem except for the really cheap 1080p ones and the OLED versions. If it annoys you, use an external device to watch stuff, with the HDMI input the problem is much less visible.
