App to organize and show local USB attached content

Hi Guys,

Can someone please suggest an application which can read my local usb hdd, find all content and display its content after fetching it from imdb or something similar?

From what I understand Plex can only stream from another server. Can Kodi do the same?

Nova is simple. Kodi can do it too and be a nice, more customizable layout.

If you're just trying to view local media in a leanback setting try Nova Video.
