Hi all. I have a bravia hooked up to a sony home theater system. Everything sounds great when using the apps on the TV, netflix, disney+, and also with bluray. I have been trying to play some videos on my tv using a USB stick. The movies are AAC, H.264 and typically stereo audio and I play them using the video player app. I have been having to turn the volume to the max to hear the dialogue and then when there is an explosion my ears die. I have tried to adjust audio settings with no luck. Any help appreciated.
Try bypass/passthrough audio to your HT, it might boost the digital files' audio. Or you could try a different app to adjust the audio playback, I use NightPlayer, which also has a volume levelling function.
