The actual form of YouTube Music on Android TV, just a simple tab on YouTube app, is music searched on YouTube, NOT YouTube Music. YouTube Music (for phone) is a great application. The best thing to do is modify this app to work with remote control. In fact the hole ecosystem of Google shoud be available on Android TV.
Starting to get to where I might drop Spotify. 3 things I would like to see are 1) Background play on Android TV, especially while playing a game 2) Xbox app with background play support 3) Built in last.fm support

Like somebody said, this is basically nothing and is just a shortcut to the youtube music tab within the youtube app. Theres nothing extra you gain from this apart from a slightly faster way to get to the already existing tab in youtube Music. I really hope they are planning on building this out into its own app seperately with its own menus. Most importantly, we need background listening and I'd love for some channels for quick access to playlists and stuff like GPM had.
Its a kind of nothing....a simple shortcut. Shame on google for a tons of unuseful app, instead focus they resourses on useful app
