Mi Box S Ethernet Adapter

Hi, new to androidTV so in need of some help

I recently got a Xiaomi Mi box S and I want to connect it via Ethernet. I saw on a different Post that

is apparently a working adapter.

My question is: Do all Ethernet Adapters work with the Mi Box S or are there only certain ones and if so, which would you recommend?

From what I remember, if it has a realtek gigabit controller chip, it should work. My no name, randomly bought USB3 to Gigabit Ethernet that has a realtek chip in it works fine when I plugged it in

From some reports it seems the Mibox s handpicks Ethernet adapters some work and others dont .... Seen that Ugreen Ethernet adapters generally work...

Android 9 update stuffed the ethernet capability. I've just ordered a chromecast with Google tv and will be getting rid of my mi box s. Bye bye xiaomi
