Some good sound, some bad?

I am sorry if this has been answered before. But I am wondering why on my Sony Bravia Android tv,

Some apps have full dolby sound, and some do not? Hbo Max= Dolby, while Netflix with upgraded package for 4k and multiple devices is only stereo?

Do you see the "5.1" logo in the movies that has multichannel audio support?

Yes, If I play through another device, I get 5.1 sound. But not on TV with Netflix.

Your tv is stereo so ..? If you're hooking it up with a receiver than it must support eac3 /DD+ (both tv passthrough and receiver)
