Remote has the mic. Also if you can return this POS. You'll only going to get more frustrated in coming times. 1 gb is made to frustrate you.
It's the freaking 1gb issue.
I'm going to assume that since the device is brand new with more enhancements coming to improve its performance, that's the reason why you're having the issue, however, on my device I always wait for the colored dots to move to start speaking, so I suggest to do the same, press the button, wait until the dots start to move like a wave and then start to speak.
