Currently am using a TiVo stick and when I try to watch my iptv every few seconds the screen flashes black. I’ve tried other inputs and it does the same. I know it isn’t the tv cause when I cast it’s fine.

I remember seeing some similar issues mentioned when it first came out. IIRC, they issued a software update to resolve it. You might want to check what version you're running and see if there are any updates available.
