This totally sucks. It’s the end of JRE. I used to watch only on my TV now I can’t anymore. I’ve got a Sony with android TV and Spotify is audio only.
On my phone, there's no option to play just the podcast without the video. On my TV, there's no option to play the podcast with the video. Get your shit together, Spotify. This is fucking retarded.
I might be wrong, but I think Spotify podcasts are audio only, so the video podcast will only come back probably when Spotify starts supporting video podcasts, or when Joe Rogan's exclusivity contract runs out.
He's still on YouTube, use that until Spotify updates their app.
I contacted spotify about supporting video on Androidtv. They don't give a shit.
