I tried connecting a xiaomi tv stick to a hdmi switch, but it cannot even be detected. I was wondering if the HDMI signal output from the tv stick is 5 volts? Because the LEDs on the HDMI switch do not even light up, so I'm wondering if enough power is being put out.
I just put it in a hdmi switch today and it was working absolutely normal. Its a 3way switch with a button on top for switching.
Does it need to be 4k? I thought the xiaomi stick is regular 1080.
I have this stick. The issue is a strange one. The lenth of the HDMI is not long enough for all TV's. Tried it on 3 different TV's and worked on 2 perfectly. I use it with a hub and it works fine. Hope this helps
The voltage of a device shouldn't be relevant, any compatible HDMI device should work with the switch.
Is the switch 4K 60hz compatible?
