Me and my wife like to watch a movie now and then when our children (new born and 2 year old) is sleeping. But due to our living situation our tv is just outside our bedroom.
We have a Mi box s and I heard that you could connect wireless headphones. Is it possible to connect 2 wireless headphones so we could have a pair each?
If possible dose it work with every pair or is it only a specific type?

Why don't you just buy a small Bluetooth speaker and put it between you and your spouse?

For the past almost 10 years, we have used the Monoprice Bluetooth transmitter 109722 connect to 3.5mm in the Xiaomi Box to pair 2 wireless headphone at the same time. The transmitter has sometime dropped connection between our bluetooth headphones and we had to re-pair. Another bad part about this transmitter was needed to charge before use. lt won't use direct power from charger. We managed to use those for the past years when our kids still babies. But.still better than nothing.
We just found out that they have the new model Monoprice Bluetooth 5 Transmitter 38070 and 38071 version , we will definately get it to replace with the old ones.
Hadn't tried 2 as I have same brand and same model Bluetooth headphones so 1 works at a time. But i have tried a separate device before on PC and that was pretty bad experience as it gave me lot of sync issues so i never bothered to try again.
