I'm getting a new 4K tv for the bedroom to replace my 10 yr old 1080p tv. We decided that my kids will get the old tv. I have an old Mi Box connected to it that I've been very happy with, but that will also follow the old tv.
Is the Mi Box S any good for 4K playback from streaming services (netflix, disney+ and others)? I have one of the older Nvidia Shield models (2015 I think?), but I dont feel like spending ShieldTV money if the Mi Box will do the job.
If the Mi Box isnt up to the task, guess I'll have to grab a Shield TV.
(I am aware of the new sabrina stick from Google, but generally these things are a year later to come to norway, if at all..)
You said you had an old Mi Box, well, the Mi Box S has the same specs as the old one but if you want to have other options to think about, take a look at this list:
