Fire TV stick 4k drops frequently to 25. Think we might see 30 for black friday even though it just launched. This will act as a platform for them to push their services like Youtube TV and Play store. They will likely sell for a loss if they have to .
The 4k fire tv drops in price pretty often. As low as $25. I would love if we see periodic drops like that for the Chromecast.
It'll go along way to getting into more traditional homes.
I’ll grab it at MSRP when it reveals Stadia app.
It's $50 how much you think they will discount a brand new device. I'll be getting mine day one. Probably already be tired of it by November. Lol.
If I can't get one from home depot today I'm gonna get one from the Walmart by my house on Wednesday.
Ill wait till it goes to a cheaper price, 50 or 30, or until they give it for free as some kind of deal with spotify or something. I still have to see how it works with plex as thats what I primarily use
This was a day one purchase for me until someone on /r/atttvnow said that they couldn't side load the AT&T TV Now app. Sticking with FireTV until they work that out. Might as well wait until BF.
I'm hoping they just give it to me for free for being a Google One subscriber, like they do with Home Minis so often
I would not waste my money
I plan on going with the firestick instead. It's bad enough that most of the AndroidTV ecosystem has less than eight gigs of storage once system data is factored in but cutting even that down to less than half of that is an insult which cannot be borne. There's no reason to not have 32GB internal storage at a minimum with today's prices.
So even though I'd prefer to stick with Google's services I'm out. Even the Firestick has less than I'd like but it's still better than this!
Wait nobody is going to say who Sabrina is? Google's first adult android or something?
Edit: it's the new chromecast with google tv built in... How disappointing
Considering the UI has ads in it and no Stadia, here's my offer for Sabrina: Nothing. Not even the sales tax, which I'd appreciate if Google put up personally.
I don't plan on buying the new device, I have no need for it right now, but I don't see it taking a massive drop this Black Friday. Just launched and it's already practically dirt cheap.
