It works fine for me as well - of course it doesn't have all the features of the Android phone app
Well, because it's a web app.
Honestly the newer one is noticeable faster the previous one. I'm using the Shield and it's fine for me.
It’s laggy on every platform haha. Usually I just cast my music to the TV using Spotify Connect so I don’t have to use the TV controls.
The Spotify client on PCs is just a web app. It wouldn't surprise me for them to do that on any other platform..
I believe it's a web app, too. It is EXACTLY the same as the app on the Tizen OS (Samsung) and Web OS (LG)
