I'm wanting to buy the new Chromecast. I was hoping to find it in stores. And anyone had any luck buying it in store, at a Walmart or Best buy? It seems like if people could find them before launch day you think we should be able to find them on launch day.
I checked one Walmart tonight with no luck.
I bought 2 at Walmart. Not every Walmart had them in my area. I had to drive to different Walmart locations until I found one lactation that had them. I got the last 2 Chromecast they had In stock.
I also went to Target, Best Buy and Home Depot with no luck there. Check to see if your local Walmart has it in stock online and buy it online with same day pick-up. That way you won't have to drive around looking for it like I did. And if you don't want to buy it online, it will at least tell you which Walmarts have them in stock locally.
Tip and lesson learned, download the Walmart app. It's more accurate and easier to navigate.
