TiVo Stream apk on Nvidia Shield?

Is it possible to install the TiVo Stream 4K apk on the Shield in a similar way as people are doing with the new Google TV apk?

I was able to install the Google TV apk following instructions on other posts, but I think I like the TiVo Stream app better, so I would like to try this out.

The launcher is the same, I think they have made their Stream app a system app that can't be moved from the favorites bar and the same with Netflix. The apk for the Stream app won't install on the Shield. I tried that.
