There was a bug at one point in the main Google (search) app. I reported then diagnosed this on a previous thread. The latest versions fixed this, unless it’s reverted back. I recommend checking that all apps are up to date from the App Store. If the problem persists then uninstall the Google app and then the vanilla version runs where the problem didn’t exist. Hope this helps.
I had the same issue. I recently bought it and set it up. From the very start google assistant would only give me youtube search results. I factory restored the settings and now it has full functionallity. It will turn on and off my lights and search the app store. Maybe it is a bug in the setup as i can see you are also Dutch and maybe also using the Dutch google assistant settings.
Since Google Play Music is getting axed, you need to check in the Assistant settings on your phone what app is the default one for music.
You should default to Youtube Music because maybe Play Music is already disconnected.
