Chromecast with Google TV, Bluetooth and HBO Max?

Can anyone with one of the new Chromecast with Google TV dongles confirm something for me? My Bluetooth headphones work in the main interface, YouTube TV and Netflix - but no sound at all via the HBO Max app?!

I doubt it matters but using AirPod Pros.

Hi, when the AirPods Pro are paired do you can control the volume with the chromecast stick ?

I am having the same issue, but with Galaxy Buds+. No sound in HBO max, but works in others.
