Looks like the device doesn't support the Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital conversion when it is connected to a TV or AVR with only Dolby Digital decoding, at minute 15:45 he shows a movie that I suppose to be available in 5.1 audio but the logo doesn't show up, later at minute 24:52 we can see the device detected only Dolby Digital from the TV, which means this is a passthrough-only device, at least for now.
Can you please Brett confirm this?

Hi Brett, fantastic video. For me this Chromecast with Google tv has the potential to be brilliant in the long run with future updates. I would love to see the following things implemented in future that would make this the perfect streaming device.
Plex integration with the UI using your Plex library as a source.
UK live TV integration with FTA channels. Possible link up with Freeview.
Recieving Google duo calls without the need of being in the duo app as the call comes in. (Maybe pop up on screen regardless of what you are watching with the ability to answer or decline the call)
Nest doorbell pop up when someone rings the doorbell.
Stadia UI implementation. Recommended games etc in the UI not just the stadia app.
Looking forward to receiving mine in the UK on the 15th.
Wondering if it's worth upgrading my Nvidia Shield 2017 to this? I want to take advantage of the Dolby Vision that my TV supports, but not my Shield.
Excellent video Brett.. can't wait to get the Chromecast Google TV in India. Google hasn't responded on when they'll be launching it here. Will look to have someone get it from US. Do you by chance have a Nvidia Shield Game controller 1st Gen which didn't have Bluetooth? Can you check is there any way to pair a game controller via WiFi Direct?
Is there any way we can have Ring alp on Mi Box S? Ring app says it is incompatible.
