I know they are similar specs, so Performance should be on par with each other... But based on the few demo videos I've lost of the new Chromecast TV, it looks like the interfaces buttery smooth on it. My mi Box 4 isn't necessarily slow, but I feel like it has become more sluggish and the interface slower. I don't do much other than Plex, YouTube, and sling. Has anyone used both and can comment on performance? I'll probably pick up a Chromecast TV during Black Friday since it will most likely go on sale, but just thought I would ask.

Similar!? Not so much. The new Chromecast has a similar performance to do the Fire Stick 4K. It's vastly superior when compared to the Mi Box. The processor on the Mi Box is old and outdated, the DDR3 memory is old and outdated, no Dolby Vision, no Atmos...
