Chromecast with Google TV versus AirTV Mini

Question

Hi there I am looking to add a few Android TV boxes to some TVs in other rooms. Would it be better to get the AirTV Mini since it is cheaper used than the new Chromecast with Google TV since one of the TVs is 1080p only and the other is a 4K set. My living room uses a Mi Box 4K.

It's a powerful little device geared toward SlingTV.  You can use it for other apps too, you'll just have a big blue Sling button & Guide button on the remote that won't have any purpose outside of Sling...if you have Sling it'll be more useful.

Unless you subscribe to Sling and/or use their AirTV device for your local OTA channels, I wouldn't suggest you get the AirTV Mini. The new Chromecast with Google TV is going to be the best Android TV device for the vast majority of folks.
