Saw the banner, I personally dislike it and made a better apk for anyone who also dislikes it. Includes more up-to-date banner and logo. Not trying to trash it btw, just a matter of preference APK download
Make a shortcut to the traditional AndroidTV store with button mapper or realize that the 'Apps' tab is the Play Store.
I tried this, and it said user is unable to install this app. I have sideloaded other apps before though.
What for? The apps tab IS the play store.
You can just say open google play store and it opens it. No need to install anything extra.
