When I connect my Sony headphones to Google TV, everything works great. But, after I disconnect them, I don't have an option to reconnect them later. My only options are to forget and rename. So, I have to forget them and then re-pair them. It's annoying. What am I missing?
I am having the same experience, with my Sony head phones.
Option is missing. Multi-paired devices (eg if your cans are paired to your phone) will be a problem.

After the headphones are connected, press the play button on the headset and they will work again. You'll have to do this everytime you start the headphones but it beats having to re-pair them.
This is an android tv issue. I face the exact same option with my Mi TV with inbuilt android.
Seems like Google's UX engineers thought a bluetooth receiver would be the only use case for android tv.
