Holding the reset button restarted the device without issues. I was fuming thinking that I would have to do a factory reset and setup everything again
Had the same issue. Unplug the power, plug back in, then you will need to press and hold the reset button. That may or may not bring back the Home Screen but in my case it would just constantly crash loop so I had to use the google Assistant button on the remote to get me into the settings menu to factory reset it. It’s now works perfectly fine and has not had any issues over the week I’ve used it.
