Sony Android TV vs Firestick4K

by Bamelin

I have a Sony Bravia with Android tv built in. I’ve been using my Firestick but it overheats sometimes on 4K content.

Will I notice a much better experience using the built in Android TV? I prefer the Firesticks UI interface, but I’m wondering if the “built in” Android TV will offer better picture fidelity or maybe work better on upscaling?

the sony tv won't really make a difference, what do you mean by "overheats" because if its just hot to the touch that's perfectly normal

Exactly what Sony TV Model and which version of the FireTV Stick ?

You have not provided near enough detail.

Do you use the firestick's power adapter or plug it to a usb port on your tv? You should always use the power adapter.

You prefer the firestick ui? Ewlll lol also which sony tv? X900f has a trash tier SoC for Android TV. X950g and up has a much better one.
