The remote of my Chromecast with Google TV stopped working. I restarted the Chromecast but it didn't fix it. I checked the batteries and that didn't work either. Tried unpairing and not I can't figure out how to pair again. I can't put it back into pairing mode and the light on the remote doesn't light up. Any ideas?
I was just now going to post about a problem that just popped up but I see someone already beat me here. My remote stopped working 10 minutes ago, I can still control my TVs volume but nothing else.
Had exactly the same issue.
After a factory reset it did it again.
3rd Factory reset and there was now an update for the remote control.
Took two attempts to update the Firmware and now it's very happy on Version 23.9.
