Too much data streaming

by Snoo_22479

I have a sony x750h android tv. Is there anyway to chose hd 1080p instead of uhd. When using netflix or amazon? Uhd fine for movies but not good when binging series. Especially with kids doing distant learning. Stupid Comcast terabyte data limit. Netflix and amazon android tv apps have zero options for this.

You can set Netflix stream quality under "Data usage" in account settings (using the website) and it will affect all devices.

Thanks everyone. I'll use my roku box for bingeing set to 1080p. Then built in apps for movies. And yes I have zero options for broadband other then Comcast. That's why they have a 1 terabyte limit. That goes pretty quick with the kids doing distant learning for school.

I've never heard of someone complain about data caps for media consumption. That's rough. I'm lucky enough to have unlimited. Really helps with stadia.

I live in Europe, I cannot understand, US the super power cannot provide unlimited internet. The country popularized internet...

Data caps are beyond my comprehension. I hope megalomaniac Elon will change that with Starlink.

Netflix only has 4K on the Premium subscription. Downgrade to Standard.

Change your data supplier. Data caps are primitive now.
