I can see the device in the bluetooth accessories but the pairing fails. Also, when I try the Sixaxis Compatibility Checker, it says " could not start driver. Check that your device is rooted". Bluetooth address at the bottom is not shown.

As far as I researched, there are 2 types of PS4 controller. 1st gen can't connect to Mi TV Stick whereas 2nd gen can.
I have yet to find an android device that the Xbox One controllers (with bluetooth) don't work seamlessly with. It is a shame they didn't engineer the sixaxis ones to work better.
