Hey everyone, I couldn’t find any answers on Google so I hope I can get some help on here. I recently bought a 65 inch TCL Android Smart TV 4K HDR, etc. Previously, I used a TCL ROKU tv 50 inch. I watch all of my live tv through streaming apps with a TV provider log in. On this new Android tv, almost everything buffers when I’m watching live. For example, ESPN, CBS, FOX, almost everything. To compare, my old 50 inch roku NEVER buffered at all. It worked perfect. All of my others TVs in the house never buffer either. I even have the 65 inch plugged in via Ethernet, and judging by the past I don’t believe my internet is the issue, because all of my others TVs work fine. Any ideas on why this new tv buffers so much? Is it trying to play too high of a quality? Is the operating system junk? Can it not handle the streaming apps? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
Yeah, android tv is just like android os for phone. There are many things running in the background all the time consuming ram, internet. While Roku tv usually let only one app/ one process run at a time.
