is there any other way to remove unwanted suggestions on google tv home page , i have already uninstalled all of the unwanted app and disabled them in the account settings, however I'm still getting unwanted suggestions from stuff like Disney+ and Amazon primes e.c.t, is there some 3rd party blocker that i can get?

I am researching this now. I am going to try a pihole to see if I can get it to block the barrage of ads and useless recommendations (which are also ads).
my tv has google tv built in so i'd like to use it. unfortunately its unusable the way it is now.

Any other devices that function like Google TV that have a bit more control of what I see on screen?
I thought that the point of this was to combine my current paid services making it easier to find something to watch... On one screen, rather than me going into each app and browsing for something to watch through my nvidia shield tv. That certainly isn't what is going on. I've uninstalled Disney+, HBO Max, and suggestions continue to show up. Why do I want suggestions for "channels"(apps) I don't get or want to subscribe to?
