Webcam is too bright. Are there any settings available in Android tv for webcams?

by brimur

I plugged my new 4K webcam into my Nvidia Shield connected to a 4K TV and installed Trueconf. The webcam is detected but is overexposed and there is nothing in the Trueconf app that allows changing the webcam settings. Is there a generic app out there that can modify the webcam settings such as exposure, contrast, zooming in/out etc?

Although TrueConf for Android TV does not allow users to change camera settings, one of the possible solutions to this issue might be to go to the applications settings (Direct USB Camera Access) and click on the Enabled radio button instead of Default.

plug the webcam into your PC.

use the program Potplayer webcam settings inside allow to be saved to internal webcam for use on android tv

or try other program with a save/apply function. switch back and forth from pc/mac to android see if the settings were saved.

I am still looking for a native android program that can do the same.
