USB Gamepad/Joystick and android TV

SOLVED

Hi everyone,

I just bought a Xiaomi 43" with androidTV TV.

I wanted to try Steam Link to play games on my couch.

When I connect my USB gamepad (cheap PS3 copy which works on my PC) I can navigate using the d-pad or sticks, but whenever I press a button, it launches a preinstalled app like Netflix or amazon prime. I can't use the button inside the app, but I can navigate.

Any idea how to solve this ?

Cheers.

That seems exceptionally weird. Maybe you can reassign the buttons with Button Mapper?

Ok I just bought a Logitech gamepad and I don't have the problem anymore.

U should have got bluetooth gamepad. My gamesir t4 pro works flawlessly, I am near the end of GTA3 campaign, playing it on Android TV.
