Exactly I have the same issue. I don't know what the hell the designer was thinking of.
This has bugged me since owning an android TV. I don't mind it being there but just wish the icon was a lot better to look at.

Google TV UI may resolve this and introduce its own issues.
Lol i have same issue it's super annoying.
On Samsung TVs the first icon is your profile picture at high res. It has the same functionality as the Change Profile on Android TV.
It's just horrible looking
