Stuttering during local videos (Google movies).

Everything works better on my Smart TV.
You get what you pay for. Im happy i got a CCU on the way with Cyberpunk preorder... This thing is getting put in the kids room.

The CCGTV network connectivity and stability issue is very likely your problem:

I had an issue that was kinda similar to what you describe, but on my OG Nvidia shield TV. I was trying to mount it behind the TV but the heat from the TV or the shielding from the TV was causing all kinds of issues with the remotes (which use wifi) and general performance and stability of the system. It was wired to ethernet so streaming connections weren't really affected. I moved the unit out from behind the TV and it worked well again. I ended up mounting it just inside the upper left corner of the TV away from any vents / ports. Maybe try finding an HDMI cable extension and get it away from the heat of your tv.
Works flawlessly for me except on initial startup, then there is a few seconds of issues.
I been using it basically 24/7 with no issues
