Recently Updated?

by updawg

I used to like opening the Google Play Store to see which of my apps were recently updated. That has been missing for a while now. Anyone know why they removed it?

Mine was fine until this morning. I used to be able to click on My apps to do my updates. Now, I have to hunt further into my account to get to my apps to see if updates are available since I don't do AUTO update. AND the screen that normally pops up saying turn ON auto updates is buried also. Finally, the row that shows my current apps (inside Play once I finally find them) won't let me scroll to the left (back to the beginning). There is definitely a glitch because it is happening on both of my Sony TVs and it was fine yesterday. I check it daily.

This came up when Google first changed it and no one seemed to know why.

I agree it's annoying, I also liked to know what had been recently updated.

You can still view what has been changed in each app by clicking on the text above the Open/Uninstall buttons.

Google removed it when the new interface arrived but you can send your complain about it using the "send feedback" option in the Play Store of your Android phone.

There is also missing a button to force the search for updates, I have to force-stop the app every time I want to know if there are updates available because just opening the app doesn't always shows them.
