I had my Hisense Android TV for about two or 3 months and it just got an update I downloaded today and has this new advanced settings feature called "Content Type Auto Detection" and I would just like to know if anybody knows what this does and if it gives you input lag because i have a console and i play often and want the lowest input lag possible, I looked it up and cant find anything about it so please I wanna know what it does and if it gives input lag in game mode, thanks
It probably sets the picture mode based on what video format it playing.
My Bravia has a similar feature, which I disabled on the inputs my consoles are on because it sometimes gets "stuck" between picture modes when the input switches HDR off or there's a resolution change.
