Add MI Box 4k to speaker group

Can the MI Box 4k be added to a speaker group?

Only the Chromecast with Google TV can be added to a speaker group.

It was working  a while, then Google cut it out again, most likely in favour for the new Google TV device!? :-(

Mi Box S and I think probably all android TV's (I'm not sure about the latter) can't be added to groups.
