I tried App launcher for TV on my TCL Android TV, and it brought up a bunch of additional apps that didn’t show up in the Apps section on the default launcher. Another great thing about the app is that it lets you easily open installed APKs on your TV, including those that aren’t native to Android TV. This is what Launcher is for, puts all the sideloaded apps lacking a banner in a folder that appears as a icon on your app drawer/homescreen & it's not EOL & been updated within the last 5 years, unlike Sideload Launcher.

There's another app simply called Launcher that only displays apps you've sideloaded, e.g. Chrome.
