I'm coming from Apple TV where you have the option to use voice input in any input field.. specifically the search field for any streaming app (netflix, disney+, prime etc).
I have switched to a Google TV which is great but I can only seem to use voice input for Google Assistant which has the ability to include netflix in it's results but not for any other of my apps.
Does Google/Android TV support voice input inside of any app like the Apple TV or is it only for Google Assistant?

In most of your apps, when you open the search field and the keyboard pops up, you will see the microphone at the top. Instead of typing, go up to the microphone press your ok button and speak what you want to search. there it is, in it's utmost simplicity.
