Should I update my mi box S ? I have been using the oreo version for a long time now since it was stable for me and i was scared of bugs but the notification is bothering me and I want to know if you guys experienced any bugs in this ?

avoid it, it has major bugs. Also there is no support for HD audio out.

What does the upgrade have that you want? If it's not important then don't fix what ain't broke.

Problems for me:

  1. Remote doesn't connect from the start. I have a keyboard attached which wakes up the device then asks for remote to connect then it works normally. Repeat for every restart.
  2. Volume is always starting from 0.
  3. Kodi is acting weird about network sometimes. Doesn't see network drives etc. Requires restart to fix.

Also I don' t see a single benefit it brought to me. Still no Amazon Prime Videos (sideloading sucks).
