I bought the Jetstream a little over a year ago for $45 and it worked great and even integrated well with my Google home speakers.
There were a few bugs I learned to work around, but once the box upgraded to Android 9 it started having these two issues that drive me crazy.
I can no longer turn on my TV with my voice. (oddly this started working again two months ago but stopped again last weekish). Once on voice controls work fine, but kids keep hiding the remote.
Youtube app is always signed out when I turn it on which results in kids seeing ads or content I want to hide.
If anyone has any solutions for this I'll love you forever. If not, do you know if the new Chromecast Google tv has these issues? I need the ethernet port so the cost is a bit more than I want just to fix these two problems, but I'll do it if it's the only way.
Those are Android TV general issues, I've also experienced them on my Jetstream and the Mi Box S, specially the YouTube one.
I suggest to try to contact Ematic and report the issues, they need to provide a firmware update because the Wi-Fi is also somewhat unstable, but if you are using the ethernet port you'll be fine.
The CC with GTV has also its own issues, specially because it's a new device with a new interface that still needs some polish.
I finally suggest to stick with the Jestream and pray for a new firmware update, hopefully an Android 10 or 11 firmware update next year.
If you still want to replace your box, I suggest to take a look at this list of devices with ethernet port:
