Using the update pack downloaded from the company site, does it erase everything?
If so, is there a way to backup and restore after update?

I have a KM3 and I upgraded mine from android 9 to 10 a couple months ago. Yes it'll erase everything, so I just made sure I wrote down the apps I use and saved apks on a USB memory stick so I'd have an easier time rebuilding my setup. TBH I wished I kept mines to Android 9. The only gain for my situation I noticed was Hulu finally playing videos smoothly with no picture freezing.
Sadly I don't think there's an easy way to backup stuff on Android TV (or even Android mobile itself for that matter). Also, before updating make sure your favorite apps work on Anfoird TV 10 (example: we have a streaming cable service called Movistar Play in Latin America, whose app works fine in 9 but it doesn't work with Android 10)
