Google TV question

by Bhaelros

Hello

I am thinking about getting Google TV and I have a question before buying it. I already have Chromecast Ultra 4K at home, do I need full set or only remote controller?

This is the remote Sprachfernbedienung für Chromecast mit Google TV – Google Store and this is whole set Chromecast mit Google TV – Google Store

Yeah the full set. The new Chromecast with Google TV is leaps and bounds better than the older Chromecast devices. Now I just have to decide what to with my old Chromecast Ultra!

full set.

Full set.

Depending on what you do with it, an Nvidia Shield might be better (if you want easy storage expansion and peripheral usage).

Cost of a Chromecast with Google TV, extra power brick and USB adapter with USB-C power delivery is damn near the cost of a Shield.

I'm happy I got mine for half price.

If you're just streaming Netflix etc then yep, full set to get there new benefits and remote features.

No, you need to buy the Chromecast mit Google TV and the Sprachfernbedienung für Chromecast mit Google TV is included in that already.

Anyway I would think about buying the Ethernet-Adapter für Chromecast mit Google TV as well so you don't need to rely on crowded wifi channels - unless you are carrying your TV around all the time.

Indeed the Google Chromecast 4k and the Chromecast mit Google TV are completely different devices which actually don't share much more than their names.

Full set. If you want to add extra storage all you need is this thing. I have one and it works great. Nothing else is needed. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C5FWQND/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_uXj8FbGP6XKGF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
