Hi all,
My parents bought a JBL link bar. Unfortunately, they encountered problems on the first day of using it. I set up the link bar, everything seemed fine. However, a bit later the soundbar stopped responding to the remote.
I did some troubleshooting, and I think the bluetooth stopped working on the link bar. When I press the button, it doesn't light up. It does turn on, and I get an image on the tv. When I press the bluetooth button, it does go to the pairing screen.
However, the remote won't pair. I also can't connect to it using a phone.
I think it needs a factory reset. Does anybody know how I can reset it without the remote?
Thanks.
I've had an issue once where the batteries died or some user error (something was paired with the remote, I think?) causing the remote to become unpaired, or, at least it'd seem to lose connection intermittently.
I was able to use the Android TV remote app to re-pair. What do you mean by not being able to connect via phone? Bluetooth? If the device is connected to the network, you should be fine?
There's a particular key press combo to put the remote in pairing mode as well, which I recall may have taken a couple tries.
