I've found the setting in the settings menu, but clicking it only prompts the TTS engine to say 'ticked'
YES, I KNOW IT'S TICKED, I WANT IT UNTICKED.
Anybody know a shortcut or a way to untick the setting at all? All google help posts point to simply unticking the setting that I've found but TTS is mocking me by just saying ticked.
If nothing else works you could reset it and the settings will be back to default. Also try long pressing the setting, don't know if it will work but maybe.
To make it worse it keeps just saying random things about radio stations and every now and then it will randomly say 'Timers'. Bloody thing
On my LG phone, holding both volume keys for 3 seconds enables/disables talkback.
Just checking, you're not using Button Mapper, right?
I remember some problem I had when using that app.
