I have an issue with this smart TV. First of all I know it is not this product faulty, as I had another tiniert 4s last year and it started having the same issue out of nowhere.
Whenever a HDR video/film is being played, the picture mode automatically changes to HDR (as it should), but also restores motion smooth to default, which is standard. If I try to manually change it to off, on Netflix for example, one can still see the motion smooth, even though it says off, while on Amazon Prime if I start a HDR video, it also always resets motion smooth to standard and if I do change it to off while playing the video, the video closes, and then after restarting the video motion smooth is back to standard.
I have been doing some research and it seems it might be a firmware bug,
Are you by any chance able to help me out? Please, say that any of you has managed to fix this issue..
I got a Mi Smart TV and I'm very, very happy with it, but this bug is driving me crazy. Apparently it hasn't always been like this but was a 'feature' or unintended side-effect from a patch in the last year.
I can't help but wonder if they even realise it's an issue.
