Hi everyone! I've got an annoying problem: since Mi Box S doesn't fully shutdowns when I press the power button, it continues trying connecting to my headphones (I want to use them both on the TV and other devices) and it's really succeeds in this: in 90% of cases my phone / laptop just doesn't have time to connect to earphones, Mi Box is really fast! Every time this happens, I have to go to the living room and unplug the Mi Box.
My ideas on how to solve the problem :
- Always unplug Mi Box. It works, but I need a more elegant solution. Also, I'm not the only one who uses this gadget, so I'll have to make sure that every its user will unplug it every time.
- Turn off the bluetooth by special program. It's not really convinient, because the remote controller is also uses bluetooth to connect (however, I could use Android TV Remote control program to interact with TV and turn bluetooth on manually every time, but that's very complicated)
- Turn off bluetooth automatically when the device wakes up? (I could write such an application, but I don't know where to start and if it's even possible given the Android security constraints)
- Remove the earphones from bluetooth devices list (quite inconvenient)
I would really appreciate it if someone could share a possible solution to my problem. Thanks!
Un-pairing the earphone after your use would be the best solution in your case. Or else you can get an earphone that supports multi-point.
By the way, once you turn off Mi Box totally and connect earphones with your laptop, doesn't the earphones next time connect to laptop only?
PS:I tried an app from playstore that supposed to turn off Bluetooth seeking, but din work for me. You can check if it works for you. Name's "Bluetooth Discovery off" I guess.
